Despite what it looks like. God is ALWAYS in control. “I feel like MAYBE this is going to happen even though I know what God promised me.” or “Oh, here we go again. I knew it was too good to be true.” Or “So, no God. Oh okay.” or “I just KNEW that this was how it was going to happen because it made perfect sense.” And it’s not an easy feeling especially, when you feel like you keep getting your hopes up about things but it feels like you just continue to hit walls. God has not forgotten about us. He hasn’t. We must stop leaning on our ever changing emotions & lean on God’s Word and also on what we know that he promised to us. Don’t feel like He’s promise you anything check these out…….
“20God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.” – Eph. 3:20 MSG
“16This is why the fulfillment of God’s promise depends entirely on trusting God and his way, and then simply embracing him and what he does. God’s promise arrives as pure gift. That’s the only way everyone can be sure to get in on it, those who keep the religious traditions and those who have never heard of them. For Abraham is father of us all. He is not our racial father—that’s reading the story backwards. He is our faith father.” – Romans 4:16 MSG
“10 Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.” – Isaiah 41:10 MSG
“2 This is God’s Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as God:3‘Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.’” – Jeremih 33:2-3 MSG
“28That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.” – Roman 8:28 MSG
“17 but no weapon that can hurt you has ever been forged.Any accuser who takes you to court will be dismissed as a liar. This is what God’s servants can expect. I’ll see to it that everything works out for the best.”
God’s Decree.” – Isaiah 54:17 MSG
“6There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.” – Philipians 1:6 MSG
He loves us so much. He wants to give the desires of our hearts. He wants us to get to those places that we have always dreamed about, and even placed that we never could have imagined. And He will. We just have to trust in Him. I don’t like to wait, I just don’t. But I refuse to continue to take matters into my own hands and mess them up because I am getting ahead of God. He sees the big pictures. He created it. He knows what we need now and even years from now which is why things are as they are. But don’t you dare lose sight of who God is. And if you don’t really know, seek Him. Sit at His feet and say God, “I don’t really know where to start but I just know that I need You here to lead me and change me.” And He will take it from there.
I have been single for what feels like so long now, and I know that God has a husband for me but I feel like I’m ready……but maybe I’m not ready yet…..or maybe he’s not ready yet. I have to trust in Him and I can promise you that my time is coming and before I know it, it will be here and I will be telling you about him. But I have to seek God for comfort, strength, peace, and anything else that I need. Want to start a family but you feel like you can’t, ask Him to direct you, ask Him if there is anything that you need to change or what He needs you to do, even if that means to just wait. Trust that He’s got you. He does have you. Want a new job, be the best at whatever it is that you are doing now and continue to find more ways to improve yourself and other around you, working or not. “Faith without works is dead.” We have to be willing to work what we can and lean on Him for what we can’t.
I can’t wait to learn how God is moving for you, even now when you don’t think He is. He is. Trust Him. Love Him. And embrace the now! With every season comes new troubles so you need all of the preparation that you can, while enjoying what you have now. Be encourage. He HAS NOT forgotten about you.
