The Call

Last September, I watched a series by Priscilla Shirer titled “One in a Million” where she talked about the fact that only one in a million people truly walk in the calling that God has for their life. And for whatever reason, that really struck a cord with me.To think that even outside of salvation & eternal life, there is a life of prosperity that He has positioned for us here on Earth as well, if we walk in it & follow His lead.

I know that there is a calling on my life, as is yours, and I want every bit of what God has for me……….however, with that, comes development, being “stretched”, disappointing people, often walking alone, and so many other things that catapult you from your comfort zone into the life that truly waits for you in Christ!

I am currently in a place now where it feels like there are so many things that I have to face and allow The Lord to deal with me, and like I have said, I am UNCOMFORTABLE. But I have realized along with a life that waits for me, there are too many unsaved souls at stake for me to stay in this place of comfort.

What things are you running from or trying to avoid that God is trying to bring you through & also bring you to?

You think you are the only one who wishes God would change “the call’?……..Read this:

“Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray close by.” He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee and began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then He said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Wait here, and keep watch with Me.” He went a little farther, and falling on His face, He prayed, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.””
Matthew‬ ‭26:36-39‬ ‭MEV‬‬

When Jesus went the pray soon before he knew that he would be crucified, he went before the Lord asking that if there was any way that God would change His “call”, but not long after agreed that it was better for God’s will to supersede His. That’s amazing!

Just think if Jesus would have denied His calling? Where would we be then?

I’m thankful that He was obedient, and if you fall into alignment with God, I can guarantee that down the road, someone will be thankful for your obedience as well!

I know that the journey may seem scary, be hard, take you out of your comfort zone, make you feel like you’ve literally been dropped in the ocean, pray for His strength & He will give it to you! There’s no way that He purposed you for His called and didn’t plan to grace you through it, you just have to say, Yes! Submit to His will, and know that it will be worth it!

I pray that if you are struggling with His call, that you will oblige & I’m believing who you!

Be encouraged this week & love you so much!
